Introduction:

The healthcare industry has been facing numerous challenges when it comes to managing patient data. With the rise of technology, it has become imperative to digitize medical records to improve patient care, reduce errors, and increase efficiency. Our application is designed to help healthcare providers and patients manage their health data digitally. Today, electronic health records (EHRs) are widely adopted by providers, and more than 95% of health data is digital.

Problem Statement:

The healthcare industry has been facing several challenges with traditional paper-based medical records. It leads to a lack of accessibility, low data security, and inefficiency. As the amount of patient data increases, it becomes more difficult to manage, store, and access it in a secure and organized manner.

Solution

To meet the client's needs, our team has developed a set of separate applications dedicated to concrete different aspects of the healthcare industry, as well as a centralized superior system (CSS) that allows managing resources of the whole environment, defining permissions. The CSS enables providers across the country to access patients' health records, including their diagnoses, lab tests, procedures, and prescriptions. The application is multilingual and available in various languages, making it accessible to a wide range of patients and healthcare providers.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges in developing this application was ensuring the security of sensitive patient data. To overcome this, we used encryption techniques and robust security measures to protect the data from unauthorised access and made product fully compliant with HIPAA standards

Implementation of Various Technologies:

The software systems/mobile apps developed by our team will become an essential part of India's Laboratory digital service platform that is being expected to be used by more than 3000 Hospitals and Laboratories. The application is built using cutting-edge technologies such as HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, Bootstrap, React JS, Node JS, Material-UI, Micro-Services, AWS Cloud, and Rest API. These technologies ensure the application is user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.

Process

The process of developing the application involved several stages. First, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the client's needs and the challenges faced by the healthcare industry in managing patient data. Based on this analysis, we designed the application architecture and identified the necessary technologies to be used.
Next, our team of developers created a prototype of the application and tested it thoroughly to ensure it met the client's requirements. During the development phase, we closely worked with the client to make any necessary changes and improvements.
Once the development was complete, we deployed the application and conducted user acceptance testing to ensure it was functioning as expected. Finally, we provided training and support to the client's staff to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
