MENA Crypto Exchange
Crypto Exchange & Digital Asset Platform · Retail · Corporate
A regulated cryptocurrency exchange and digital-asset platform purpose-built for the UAE and wider MENA market. The platform serves both individual investors and registered business entities, supporting fiat-to-crypto on-ramps, crypto-to-fiat off-ramps, spot trading, secure custody, and end-to-end compliance — all on a single, low-latency rail. Built from the ground up around regional regulatory requirements, the platform handles thousands of concurrent trading sessions with sub-50ms order matching and supports the full lifecycle of customer onboarding, deposit, trade, and withdrawal.
The Challenge
What We Faced
The client needed a regulated exchange that could simultaneously serve retail customers and corporate treasury clients in one of the world's strictest crypto markets. Existing white-label platforms couldn't combine retail-grade UX, institutional flows, regulator-grade identity verification, on-chain risk screening, and direct AED bank rails into a single coherent system. The platform also had to operate inside the bounds of MENA regulatory expectations — without sacrificing the latency and reliability traders expect from a modern exchange.
Our Solution
How We Solved It
We engineered a microservices-based exchange built around a hardened custody layer, a low-latency matching engine connected to deep institutional liquidity, and a continuous compliance fabric that screens every customer and every transaction in real time. Customers and businesses pass through tiered identity verification before they touch the order book. Fiat AED moves through a regulated UAE banking partner using a virtual-account model, while crypto deposits and withdrawals flow through policy-controlled MPC custody. Every cross-service call is signed, every state change is auditable, and the entire stack is ready for full regulatory inspection.
