SaaS Product Development

We specialize in building SaaS products from the ground up. Our SaaS expertise covers multi-tenant architecture, subscription billing, user management, analytics dashboards, and the infrastructure needed to serve thousands of customers reliably.

What is SaaS Product Development?

SaaS product development transforms ideas into scalable cloud-based products with multi-tenant architecture, subscription billing integration, role-based access control, and API-first design. It covers the full product lifecycle from MVP validation through growth-stage scaling, including user onboarding optimization, usage analytics, and the infrastructure to support thousands of concurrent tenants.

Engineering Targets

Figures below are the benchmarks we design and test against on this type of build. They are targets, not a warranty — what your platform actually achieves depends on your data, scale and integration surface, and we agree the numbers that matter with you before work starts.

Why This Matters

A SaaS product is judged on what happens after launch: whether a new tenant can be added without engineering, whether billing matches usage, whether costs rise slower than revenue. Those properties come from architectural decisions made early. We build them in at the start, because retrofitting multi-tenancy later is close to a rewrite.

FEATURES

What You Get

Capabilities

Multi-Tenant Architecture

Tenant isolation designed at the data layer, with the boundary enforced in queries and tested automatically, so one customer can never read another customer's records.

Subscription and Billing Engine

Plans, trials, seats, upgrades, proration and failed-payment handling built into the product, so commercial changes do not require an engineering ticket each time.

Onboarding and Self-Service

Sign-up, workspace setup, invitations and role assignment designed so a new customer reaches value without a call, and support costs stay flat as accounts grow.

Product Analytics and Instrumentation

Events defined alongside features, so activation, retention and feature adoption are measurable from launch rather than retrofitted once investors start asking questions.

Scalable Cloud Foundations

Autoscaling, queue-based background work, caching and cost controls sized to your growth curve, so unit economics stay sensible as usage and customer count climb.

Compliance and Audit Readiness

Audit logs, data retention rules, export and deletion flows and role-based access, so enterprise security reviews do not stall your first large deal.

PROCESS

Our Approach

How We Deliver

01

Product and Tenancy Model

We settle isolation, roles and pricing structure before the first schema is created.

02

MVP with Real Foundations

A narrow first release built on architecture that will survive the next thousand accounts.

03

Instrument and Iterate

Usage data drives the roadmap instead of the loudest voice in the room.

04

Scale and Certify

Cost tuning, load testing and the evidence enterprise buyers ask for during procurement.

Real-World Applications

Use Cases

Taking a successful internal tool to market as a multi-tenant commercial product.

Launching a vertical SaaS platform for a regulated industry with regional data residency.

Adding enterprise features such as single sign-on, audit trails and role hierarchies.

Migrating a single-tenant deployment per client into one shared, properly isolated platform.

Building an MVP that can carry paying customers rather than only a demo.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you design multi-tenancy, and can it be added later?

Isolation is settled before the first schema: a shared database with an enforced tenant key, separate schemas, or separate databases, depending on your regulatory and commercial position. The boundary is applied in the data access layer and tested automatically, so one tenant cannot read another's records. Retrofitting tenancy into a single-tenant product is close to a rewrite, which is why it comes first.

Can you build the billing and subscription side, not just the product?

Yes. Plans, trials, seats, metered usage, upgrades, proration, dunning and failed-payment recovery are built into the product, typically on Stripe, so a commercial change is a configuration task rather than an engineering ticket. Invoicing, tax handling and revenue reporting read from the same source of truth as entitlements, which is what stops a customer keeping access after a payment fails.

What do enterprise buyers ask for that early SaaS products usually lack?

Single sign-on through SAML or OIDC, SCIM user provisioning, role hierarchies with delegated administration, audit logs the customer can export, configurable data retention, and a clear answer on data residency. These surface during security review, which is where deals stall. Building them into the architecture early costs far less than adding them under time pressure while procurement waits.

Do you keep running the platform after launch?

The platform runs in your cloud accounts under your ownership, and we hand over the infrastructure code, runbooks, dashboards and cost controls so your team can operate it. We do not take over operations by default. If you want engineering continuity for feature work, upgrades or incident support, that is arranged as a separate, defined engagement rather than an open-ended dependency.
